He married GARNET MARIE LEAKE, daughter of FRED LEAKE and HELENA HEFFKEN. She was born December 13, 1906 in Glouster, Ohio [Athens County], and died February 18, 1997 in Chauncey, Ohio [Athens County].

Notes for THOMAS "HAROLD" BLOWER:

Thomas "Harold" Blower contracted Scarlet Fever as a toddler. He survived, but was left with heart damage. He was a carpenter by trade, but had a difficult time working with his heart condition. He went to work for a construction company out of necessity, never telling his employer or fellow workers of his condition. He died at the age of 46 on the job from a heart attack. He had nitro-glycerin pills in his shirt pocket, which might have saved his life, but nobody knew.
